The technique behind the EVRF®: thermo coagulation
The principle of thermo coagulation is the heating of the vein which makes the vein coagulate. This rise in temperature is achieved by sending a high frequency pulse in the tip of the needle or catheter.

Because the needle and or catheter is isolated, the effect is very local and the effect on the surrounding tissue is limited. The EVRF® is using a needle of a catheter depending on the size of vein you want totreat. The small veins are treated with the special designed thermo coagulation needles R3i and R6i for face of legs veins. The larger veins up to 3mm are treated with the special designed catheter which penetrated into the vein and coagulates the vein from the inside. A special hand tool is used to introduce the catheter into the vein.
Precise control (EVRF generator)
The duration of the pulse can be set from 0.1 to 1seconds in 0.1 second steps. The pulse power can be selected in of 5 % steps, with the capsense touch screen (no touch pen needed). The combination of both settings allow for very precise control over the amount of energy administered.
The insulated needle coagulates the small varicose vein with minimal damage to the skin.
Special designed catheter for veins between 1 and 3 mm. The specially designed catheter with ideal characteristic like fl exibility and perfect insulation makes it possible to slide the catheter into a varicose vein and coagulate the vein from the inside. This thermal coagulation effect is similar to treatments of the large saphena vein.

Indications:
- Varicose veins between 0.3 and 1mm with needles
- Facial wrinkles with the needles (separate protocols)
- Varicose veins, feeder veins up to 4 mm with the catheter
- Couperose, Rosacea, red dots
